On May 14th the UK Commission for Employment and Skills announced that the Council for Administration (CfA) would be responsible for developing pan sector standards and qualifications covering the following areas:

• Business and Administration
• Customer Services - including contact centres
• Enterprise and small business
• Governance
• Human Resources
• Industrial Relations
• Languages
• Leadership and Management
• Marketing and Sales

Since the announcement we have been working with the Council for Administration on transitional arrangements for:

• Marketing and Sales National Occupational Standards (NOS)
• Marketing and Sales Apprenticeships
• Marketing and Sales Qualifications (including qualifications strategies,
  action plans and approval of qualifications for England, Wales
  and Northern Ireland)
• Other related activities.
