A new set of world-class national marketing and marketing communications standards has been developed by MSSSB to support marketing and marketing communications professional practice. The standards, which became available for access in March 2006, were developed over the last two years and were benchmarked against best practice in UK and abroad. A functional map, that describes the key dimensions of the profession, can be accessed by clicking Functional Map.
The fully detailed list of the marketing and marketing communication units can be accessed from the National Occupational Standards directory by clicking NOS for Marketing and Marcoms.
These standards remain valid until a new set is developed following subsequent incremental revisions.
